Salt Membrane Industry

With more than 81,000 km, the second-longest coastline in the world, Indonesia is surrounded by saltwater. However, Indonesia still spends tens of millions of dollars every year on salt imports. Much of Indonesia’s salt production is low-tech, involving the evaporation of seawater in coastal ponds during the dry season.

Currently, PT IKK is planning to build a high-tech salt factory in Madura Island, East Java Province, Indonesia.  whose main objective is to contribute to national food security and create a sustainable industry.  PT IKK targets the salt industry to operate in 2025

Wind Turbine

Renewable energy is one of the energy sources that can meet energy needs, contribute to the national energy mix and help mitigate the impact of global climate change. Moreover, renewable energy is also a source of energy from natural resources that will not run out because it is formed from sustainable natural processes. The Indonesian government is setting a strategy to address these problems. One of the efforts made is optimizing renewable energy.

In overcoming these problems, we started with constructing a wind farm in the province of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam to meet the electricity needs in Aceh and its surroundings.

Glass Factories

PT IKK has ideas and knowledge and the results of comparative studies to realize the national float glass industry by conducting business cooperation schemes in terms of materials, technology, and domestic and foreign marketing. Considering that currently, to meet domestic needs, national float glass still relies on imports from outside with relatively high prices. More than 90 percent of the availability of raw materials is very abundant in Indonesia.
